The GrassPiece is designed to put less stress on the blade compared to traditional bladed jigs.
This unique structure allows us to use an ultra-thin 0.2mm blade—thinner than standard—enhancing both the sharpness of its action and its responsiveness.

The ultra-short arm design boosts your hook-up ratio when fish inhale the lure.
It also gives the lure a more compact silhouette, which helps improve casting stability.
And thanks to the combination of a 1.0mm hard stainless-steel wire and short arm, the GrassPiece is far more resistant to bending and deformation after hook-ups compared to typical spinnerbaits.

Despite its compact silhouette, the GrassPiece is equipped with a large 4/0-class hook.
This heavy-duty hook gives you the confidence to fight big fish even in heavy cover.

We recommend a 7-foot medium-heavy rod for optimal performance. Since the hook is on the larger side, a stronger rod helps ensure solid hook-sets. For reels, use a standard gear ratio (around 6:1) during the colder months from winter to spring, and switch to a high gear (around 7:1) in the warmer months from summer to fall. This setup matches the changing activity levels of bass as water temperatures rise and fall.

Thanks to its high tracking stability, there's no need to add a trailer.
No more guessing which trailer to pair it with—just tie it on and fish.

That said, adding a trailer can open up new possibilities.
With a soft plastic, the lure will shimmy on the fall—making it effective for more vertical presentations.
A 4–5 inch soft jerkbait is recommended, as it doesn’t interfere with the blade action.
